Every day your body goes through stressful battles.

Whether you are pressured from work, being pulled in all directions from your kids or just unexpected life dramas. Your mental and physical state of your body can get “stressed out”.

When your body becomes overly stressed, there’s a good chance this leads to pain. Not because your body is injured but the constant muscle tension and contractions are squeezing on nerves which can lead to eventual pain.

So what can you do?

Mobility and flexibility exercises can help to begin relieving some of this stress tension. So performing mobility exercises before bed in a methodical way can help relax the brain and body to help with a deeper and more restful sleep.

Surprisingly, doing a similar routine after sleep can help open up the body and release sleep stiffness and get more blood flow into the muscles. This will prep your body and get your moving more freely as soon as your feet hit the floor. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself.

Of course, this video only demonstrates a few mobility exercises.
