12 Weeks into my achilles tendon rupture and recapping what you can expect for your own rehab journey.
Although, everyone’s recovery will be slightly different. The number one thing is to be patient and consistent with your rehab exercises. It’s a long road to recovery but every improvement should be celebrated. There will still be swelling and discomfort even when you feeling stronger and able to walk again. So just know, this is common and will probably last up to a year.

This achilles tendon rupture injury is a frustrating and a depressing injury. It removes your independence and definitely humbles you. However, it’s all about how you can persevere and move forward.
