Hello all…well 2009 has begun.  After travelling back to ontario to visit family, being stuck on the airport runway for a couple of hours, and meeting the lead singer from a bluegrass band from Atlanta, Lovell Sisters, it’s great to be back.

If you’ve ever travelled on a plane for a long distance, you know how your body feels all cramped into those tiny uncomfortable kid sized chairs.  That’s what makes it so important that you know how to do simple airplane stretch and movement routines.  I was feeling my glutes start to go numb and my back start to ache, so I went into one of my airplane stretch routines.  I was twisting my body like a pretzel with both passengers on either side of me wondering what the heck I was doing.  This got me into one thing I like to do best, talk.  But it also gave me a chance to educate them on how to relieve pressure and stress while in flight. They were of course, grateful now that they can sit somewhat ache free during the long haul.

I’ve learned that no matter where you are, you can always stay fit anywhere.
