Welcome to my story. I am the Owner and Founder of StayFitAnywhere Solutions Inc.
For as long as I can remember I have always been an active kid. Playing around with my siblings in the field, catching tadpoles in the creek with my friends and climbing trees at the playground. Once I started school, I was into more organised sport activities. Starting at the age of 7, I participated in school track and field sprints, volleyball, hockey, soccer and swimming. And through the next 30 years of my life, the enjoyment of physical activities has always been in me.
But like most of you, adulthood responsibilities have derailed some of my regular fitness activities. The job and family, especially when you’re a new parent, take up most of my time on a daily basis. The lack of sleep alone being a new parent leaves little energy for exercise and social engagements.
But that is no excuse I keep telling myself. I have been a personal trainer and wellness coach for over 10 years. This was not always the case. I have a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree along with certifications for personal training specialist and sports conditioning.
A good period of my working life, I was behind a desk, starting into a screen for 8 hours or more a day. This is what the majority of my clients do on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. And if you’re one of them, you’re in the norm.
I know from personal experience how the body feels after a long day of sitting and how it will eventually deteriorate your body and lead you into a path of unhealthy choices. I was fortunate to have friends who were active and kept me somewhat motivated to play organised sports. Even if it was beer league co-ed softball and beach volleyball.
I now devote the majority of my work time to educating and motivating individuals like yourselves, on the importance of an equal balance of work and self play. I focus primarily on simplifying exercise techniques that you can do easily from your home, work, playground, wherever you feel most comfortable doing your exercises. The abundance of exercise information on the internet is overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be. I take what you already know and what you may not know and combine it together which makes sense.
Follow me on any of my personal social media channels @joeatsfa for Twitter, Instagram , LinkedIn . I will keep up updated with tips, adventures and daily activities. Looking forward to connecting with you and guiding you to a pain free and feel good life.
